Changes to MTNZF board roles and further cautionary
MTNZF board roles
MTNZF shareholders are advised that Belinda Mapongwana has been appointed as Chairperson of the
Board of the Company with effect from 16 September 2020 as Sindi Mabaso-Koyana will be stepping
down from the position with effect from 16 September 2020 given her appointment to the board of
MTN Group Limited (“MTN”), but she will remain a director of the Company. In addition, Belinda will
step down as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee given her appointment as Chairperson of
the Board of the Company and Manana Nhlanhla will replace Sindi as a member of the Audit and Risk
Committee with effect from 16 September 2020.
Renewal of cautionary
Further to the cautionary announcements dated 3 August 2020 and 6 August 2020, MTNZF
shareholders are advised that the funding from MTN in the amount of R15 million has been finalised
resolving the current liquidity shortfall. However, MTNZF shareholders are advised to continue
exercising caution when dealing in MTNZF ordinary shares until the Company’s interim results for the
six months ended 30 June 2020 are released, as there may be other liquidity issues which may have a
material effect on the price of MTNZF’s ordinary shares.
