Ms Dube has also been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors’ (Board) Safety, Social and Ethics and Capital Investment Committees with effect from 1 April 2018. Ms Dube holds BA and BA (Honours) degrees in Human Sciences and Politics from the University of Johannesburg and an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from Green Templeton College, University of Oxford. She has also completed a number of executive and finance programmes with the SAID Business School, University of Oxford, Harvard University, the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and Standard & Poor’s. With a professional career spanning the public and private sectors, Ms Dube has served in, amongst others, the roles of Director: Atmospheric Protection and Chemicals Management at the then Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Chief Negotiator on behalf of the Government of the Republic of South Africa in climate change negotiations under the auspices of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Sustainability Manager at BHP Billiton, Banker at Investec plc, London and Group Commercial Director at Bidvest Group. Ms Dube is a non-executive director of Vodacom South Africa, PG Group and EnviroServ Holdings.
