CLOSED PERIOD ANNOUNCEMENT


1. The preparation of the financial results for the Company for the year ending 28 February 2017 has
   commenced and is expected to continue until the end of May 2017, when the results will be
   announced.

2. In line with good corporate governance, and in compliance with the Botswana Stock Exchange’s
   (BSE) rules, as from Wednesday, 1 March 2017, Wilderness is in a closed period in terms of the
   Companies Act Cap 42:01, the BSE rules and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s Listings
   Requirements, as well as the Financial Markets Act No. 19 of 2012 (South Africa).

3. Any directors, senior management and accounting staff, and their associates, of the Company
   and/or its operating subsidiaries, including the Company Secretary, are not permitted to deal in the
   Company’s shares during this closed period. The concerned stakeholders have been notified of this
   closed period.

4. After approval and publication of the Company’s financial results, a further notice will be distributed
   providing the exact date of the end of the closed period, which is expected to be towards the end of
   May 2017.

The Company’s primary listing is on the BSE and its secondary listing is on the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange
