Shareholders are advised that Poynting has signed a sales agreement with Saab   
Grintek Defence (Proprietary) Limited, which if successfully concluded may have 
a material effect on the price of the company`s securities. The purchase price  
is based on values to be determined on the effective date, being 15 October     
2008. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in 
the company`s securities until a further announcement is made.
