In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the      
following information is disclosed:                                             
After many years of service, John Nash has retired as chairman and non-executive
director of Sable with immediate effect. He has been closely associated with the
company since 1981.                                                             
John Nash is succeeded by his son, Paul Nash as executive chairman, who has     
previously held the role of managing director of Sable for the past 22 years.
