CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING A POTENTIAL OFFER
Shareholders are advised that the board of directors of AH-Vest has received a written Expression
of Interest from its holding company, Eastern Trading Company Proprietary limited ("Eastern
Trading"), which may result in an offer by Eastern Trading to acquire those shares in AH-Vest not
already held by Eastern Trading and Farm Foods Holdings Proprietary Limited, which company is
controlled by Eastern Trading (together the Remaining Shareholders), and consequently the
delisting of AH-Vest from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Accordingly, an independent board has been appointed to commence formal discussions with
Eastern Trading.
Shareholders are therefore urged to exercise caution in their dealings in shares in the company
pending a further announcement in this regard.
