CHANGE TO THE BOARD - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Acsion (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Mrs Marianne Kok has been appointed as an
independent non-executive director and as chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee with effect from
1 September 2021.

Mrs Kok is a chartered accountant with a degree and certificate in the theory of accounting from the then
Rand Afrikaans University and a Master’s degree in accountancy at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits).
She completed her training at KPMG and then worked at the International Bank of South Africa Limited and
the South African Bank of Athens Limited over a period of eleven years, before joining Wits as a lecturer in
2008. She has continued an academic career at Wits for the last thirteen years and is currently a senior
lecturer in financial accounting and auditing to post graduates progressing to chartered accounting and in
the Master’s degree in accountancy program.

The Board welcomes Mrs Kok and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
