RESIGNATION OF A DIRECTOR
In accordance with rule 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, Transnet SOC Ltd.
wishes to notify noteholders that Mr Louis von Zeuner, a member of the Board of Directors
and Chairperson of the Audit Committee, has retired from the Board with effect from 23
February 2023.
Mr von Zeuner had informed the Board and Shareholder in 2022 that he would not be
available for re-election, and officially served his notice at the end of January 2023.
The Board would like to thank Mr von Zeuner for his service to the company and to the
country, and to wish him well in his future endeavours.

to thank him for helping to steer the organisation during a particularly turbulent time,
and for providing wisdom and astute leadership not only in matters of finance and audit,
but on the operational turnaround we are undertaking in the business,” said Dr Popo
Molefe, Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
