REPURCHASE IMPLEMENTED: DEALINGS IN SHARES BY ASSOCIATES OF A DIRECTOR

Shareholders are referred to the Company’s circular dated 5 April 2019 regarding the
proposed specific repurchase of 18 091 661 Quantum Foods shares from certain black
shareholders (“BEE Parties”) at R3.30 per share (“Repurchase”), as well as to the SENS
announcement on 27 May 2019 advising that the Repurchase had been approved by
shareholders at a general meeting on the same date.

Shareholders are advised that, as all conditions precedent have been fulfilled, the Repurchase
has been implemented.

Certain of the BEE Parties participating in the Repurchase are associates of a director of
Quantum Foods and details of the Repurchase from those associates are detailed below, as
required under paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Listings Requirements.
