                  Appointment of Interim Group Chief Financial Officer

Further to the announcement released on SENS on 1 March 2021 regarding the resignation
of the Financial Director of Denel, the board of directors of Denel (the “Board”) hereby 
advises that Ms Thandeka Sabela has been appointed as the Acting Group Chief Financial 
Officer (“GCFO”) of Denel with effect from 29 March 2021, until the appointment of the 
permanent GCFO is finalised.

Ms Thandeka Sabela, a certified Chartered Accountant brings with her a wealth of experience
and has been with Denel since November 2015 and has been responsible for Denel’s financial
reporting to various stakeholders.

The process of recruiting the new GCFO is underway, a further announcement will be made
once the Board is in a position to announce the appointment of a permanent GCFO.
