(Registration number: 2002/026265/06)
(JSE Code: CMO ISIN: ZAE000070249)
("Chrometco" or "the Company")
RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement dated 8 May 2014 and
subsequent renewals thereof dated 4 July and 18 August 2014, wherein shareholders
were advised that the Company had entered into negotiations with International Ferro
Metals (“IFM”) in terms of which IFL was allowed to conduct exploratory drilling on
Chrometco’s Rooderand asset with the ultimate intention to enter into a definitive
agreement to permit IFM to mine up to 200 000 tonnes of LG6 ore over a 12 month
period at Rooderand.
The Board of Directors of Chrometco are happy to report the following information in this
regard:
The parties have drilled approximately 6 500 metres and opened approximately 20
trenches, which enabled mine planning of some 150 000 tonnes of ore, for mining in the
next phase, of which the final terms are currently being agreed. The Company will keep
shareholders updated of its progress.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in
the Company’s securities until the completion of the exploration phase. A further
announcement detailing the terms of the definitive agreement will be released in due
course.
