APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited
(JSE), the SA Corporate Board of Directors (the Board) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Sam Moodley as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director
of SA Corporate with effect from 1 March 2022. Sam will fulfil the prescribed
function of executive financial director from this date, in terms of paragraph
3.84(f) of the JSE Listings Requirements.
Sam (44) is a CA(SA) and a highly experienced and accomplished finance
executive. During his distinguished career, spanning over 20 years, he has held
the position of Chief Financial Officer of CBRE Excellerate Group, and prior to that,
served as the Senior Director: Financial Controller at Visa Inc (Sub-Saharan
Africa), and as the Group General Manager: Finance for the Barloworld group and
a Director of Barloworld SA (Pty) Ltd, among other senior roles. In addition to
being a CA(SA) Sam holds degrees in accounting and informatics and is also a
Certified Internal Auditor and an Associate Chartered Management Accountant.
The Board extends its congratulations to Sam on his appointment and wishes him
every success in his new role.
Shareholders are advised, further to the Company’s announcement on 5 October
2021 regarding the resignation of SA Corporate’s current Chief Financial Officer,
Antoinette Basson, effective 31 December 2021, that James Barker CA(SA) has
been engaged to serve SA Corporate as interim Chief Financial Officer for the
period 1 January 2022 to 28 February 2022.
