EXTENSION OF TERM OF OFFICE OF THE INTERIM BOARD CHAIRPERSON

Following previous announcements regarding the election of Ms. Martie Janse van Rensburg as the interim
chairperson of the DBSA Board, effective from 1 December 2024 until the appointment of a new Chairperson
is finalized by the DBSA Board, noteholders are advised that the process of appointing a new chairperson is
still underway. Ms. Janse van Rensburg's term of office was set to end by effluxion of time on 31 March 2025.
Consequently, the shareholder, in line with regulation 102A of the DBSA Act, has extended her tenure
effective from 1 April 2025 until the appointment process is completed or until 30 September 2025,
whichever occurs first.

Noteholders are advised that further announcements will be made once the process of appointing the
chairperson is finalised. The Board, however, remains properly constituted in terms of the Development Bank
of Southern Africa Act (13 of 1997, as amended) and can continue to perform and exercise its fiduciary
obligations effectively.
