APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Following the announcement released on SENS on 18 February 2022,
shareholders are advised, in accordance with section 3.59 of the JSE
Limited Listings Requirements, that Ms Fawzia Suliman has been
appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer, and as executive
director, of the JSE effective from 9 January 2023.

Ms Suliman is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed her
articles at KPMG. She has held various executive roles, including
COO and CFO positions, during a twenty-year career in stockbroking
and financial services, the most recent of which was as CEO of Mazi
Macquarie Securities. Ms Suliman brings deep strategic and industry
knowledge to her new role, and extensive experience in navigating
complex operating environments.

The Board welcomes Ms Suliman to her new role and looks forward to
her contribution to the Group.

Ms Carmini Kander has served as Acting Chief Financial Officer since
20 May 2022, and the Board is most grateful for her commitment and
leadership of the JSE’s finance function during this period. Ms
Kander has agreed to continue in an executive finance role until
30 April 2023 to ensure a smooth transition.
