In accordance with DTR 3.1.2R, Lonrho announces that on 13th September 2012 the Company granted the
following awards, structured as conditional rights to shares, over ordinary shares to those directors listed below
under its Performance Share Plan (the “Scheme”), which was adopted at the Company’s Annual General Meeting
on 29th May 2012.

The awards will ordinarily vest on 29th May 2015, and will ordinarily lapse on cessation of employment (save for in
circumstances specified in the Scheme rules).

The release of these conditionally awarded shares to participants under the LTIP is dependent upon the
Company's TSR performance relative to a comparator group of companies during the performance period.

The Scheme has been designed to align directors’ interests with that of Lonrho’s shareholders in the growth of
shareholder value.
