PLACEMENT OF 101 799 000 ROCKCASTLE SHARES

Rockcastle is pleased to announce that:

-  subsequent to its communiqué to shareholders on 13 August 2012 it has placed 100 000 000 new shares
   with targeted investors; and
-  Out of the 3,800,000 unissued shares for which approval for listing was granted by the Stock Exchange
   of Mauritius Ltd (“SEM”) on 25 May 2012, 1 799 000 shares has now been placed with targeted
   investors
(collectively the “new Rockcastle shares”).

The new Rockcastle shares were placed at US$1.03 per share, raising a total amount of US$104 852 970.

The placement has taken place through the Company’s Mauritian share register.

The new Rockcastle shares will list and trade on the SEM from 24 August 2012. Targeted investors that
subscribed for new Rockcastle shares will have their CDS accounts credited with the new Rockcastle shares
on 24 August 2012.
