NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO THE DBSA BOARD AND BOARD COMMITTEES

In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, noteholders are
advised that Ms. Maseapo Kganedi has resigned as an independent non-executive director of the
board of DBSA (“board”) with effect from 30 April 2022 for personal reasons. The board expresses its
appreciation for her valuable contribution to the Bank and wishes Ms. Maseapo Kganedi well with
her future endeavours. As a result of the resignation, Ms. Maseapo Kganedi will no longer serve as a
director of DBSA Board, a member of Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (HRC) and
Social and Ethics Committee (SEC) with effect from 30 April 2022. There are no further changes to the
members and other Board committees.

Noteholders are advised that further announcements will be made once the process of filling the
existing vacancies has been completed. The board, however, remains properly constituted in terms
of the Development Bank of Southern Africa Act (13 of 1997, as amended) and can continue to
perform and exercise its fiduciary obligations effectively.
