CHANGE IN FINANCIAL YEAR END


Shareholders are advised that Labat has changed its financial year end from
31 August 2022 to 31 May 2022.

The reason for the change in year end is to align the financial reporting periods of Labat
and all the various subsidiaries pursuant to the acquisitions over the past two years. The
Company had experienced delays in its financial reporting due to the problems with the
different reporting periods and different audit firms. The audit function will also be
streamlined, with the same audit firm to be appointed to all group companies.

To comply with paragraph 3.15 of the JSE Listings Requirements, Labat will:

-    publish audited results for the nine months ending 31 May 2022 within three months of
     31 May 2022;

-    issue and distribute an integrated annual report and notice of annual general meeting
     (with audited financial statements for the nine months ending 31 May 2022) within four
     months of 31 May 2022.
