Change of Debt Officer

In compliance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements, noteholders are advised
that Kabelo Masike, in his capacity as Acting General Manager – Treasury (Group Treasurer) of Eskom
has been appointed as Debt Officer of the Company with immediate effect. This follows the
resignation of Richard Vaughan as Group Treasurer and Debt Officer.

The board of the Company confirms that it has considered and is satisfied with the competence,
qualifications and experience of the newly appointed Debt Officer.
