                    FTSE JSE Africa Index Series: Ground Rule Update

 FTSE Russell would like to inform clients that the Ground Rules for the FTSE JSE Africa Index Series
 have been updated as follow:

 4.5.22    FTSE/JSE Responsible Investment Index Series

           The Responsible Investment Index comprises constituents of the Shareholder Weighted All Share Index
           (J403) which are also companies that have securities included in the FTSE All World Index. This is a market
           capitalisation weighted index. Constituents of the eligible universe require a FTSE ESG Rating of 2.9 or
           above.

 An updated copy of the FTSE JSE Africa Index Series Ground Rules (Version 7.0) is now available using
