SABMiller plc (the “Company”) – Notification of transaction of directors and persons
discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them.

The independent trustee of the SABMiller plc Employees Share Purchase Plan Trust notified the
Company on 26 August 2016 that Mr John Davidson, a PDMR, had on the same day acquired 2
ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the Company at a price of £43.705. Mr Davidson acquired the
shares following automatic reinvestment of a cash dividend as required under the SABMiller plc
Employee Share Purchase Plan. The transaction took place in London.
