CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                                
Shareholders are advised that the company`s financial director, Colin Brown, has
resigned with effect from the end of May 2009.                                  
With reference to the previously announced transactions and the shareholder and 
scheme meetings to be held on 7 April 2009, it is anticipated that by the date  
the resignation becomes effective Celcom will have been de-listed from the JSE. 
The board of directors of Celcom thank Colin for his valued service to the      
company.
