Gazette Extraordinary of 1 October 2000 in terms of section 12(1) read with section
14(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act, 1998, as amended)

(“City of Tshwane” or the “Issuer”)
City of Tshwane Annual Financial Statements for the Year Ended 30 June 2026
Noteholders are advised that the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality has on
31 August 2026 submitted its unaudited annual financial statements for the year ended
30 June 2026 (AFS) to the Auditor General South Africa. The AFS comprises of the
separate statement of financial position as at 30 June 2026, the separate statement of
financial performance, statement of changes in net assets, cash flow statement and the
statement of comparison of budget and actual amounts for the year that ended on 30
June 2026, as well as the notes, compromising a summary of significant accounting
policies and other explanatory information.
The submitted AFS were prepared in accordance with the South African Standards of
Generally Recognized Accounting Practice (SA standards of GRAP), the requirements
of the Municipal Finance Management Act of South Africa, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003)
(MFMA) being Section 126 1(a) and (b), the Division of Revenue Act of South Africa,
2015 (Act No.1 of 2005) (DoRA), and for such internal control measures as the
Accounting Officer determines are necessary to enable the presentation of the separate
financial statements that are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or
error.
Noteholders are further advised that the City of Tshwane’s Unaudited AFS, as
submitted to the Auditor General South Africa, may also be available on the National
Treasury’s website.
Noteholders will be advised as soon as the audited annual financial statements are
available.
