APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(c ) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, and following
the announcement released on SENS on 14 April 2022, advising shareholders of the
resignation of Ms Jubilant Speckman as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), the Salungano Group
board of directors (“the Board”) is pleased to advise that Ms Kabela Maroga, a current non-
executive director of the Company, has been appointed as CFO and her role will now change
to executive director with effect from 1 October 2022.

Ms Maroga is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 13 years’ experience in the
mining industry. She completed her Associate General Accountant articles at FirstRand Bank
and her Chartered Accountant articles at Sasol Synfuels, where she was subsequently
appointed as financial accountant. She has since held various management positions and has
significant experience in the listed environment. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in
mining engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.

She has been the Audit and Risk Committee chairperson of the Company for eight years, until
March 2021.

The Board is satisfied that Ms Maroga has the requisite skills and expertise for the role of CFO,
welcomes her in her new role and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
