UPDATE ON URGENT LIQUIDATION APPLICATION


Shareholders are referred to the announcements released on SENS on 21 October 2022 and
14 March 2023 wherein they were advised, inter alia, that an ordinary shareholder of the
Company had launched an application for the winding-up of Afristrat (“the Application”), which
Application was opposed by the Company. Shareholders are hereby advised that the Application,
which the board of directors believe is without merit, was heard in the High Court of South
Africa, Gauteng Division, Pretoria on 8 and 9 June 2023 and judgement was reserved.

Shareholders will be provided with a further update once judgement is handed down.
