DEALING IN DIS-CHEM SHARES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR

Shareholders of Dis-Chem are advised of the following dealings in the Company’s securities.

The dealings are in terms of equity funding arrangements entered into by Melnique (Pty) Ltd, an associate
of Mr Rui Morais, in 2018 with a financial institution which consisted of a loan agreement securitised by a
simultaneous collar hedge and equity lending transaction. The transaction entered into by Melnique (Pty)
Ltd was an off-market exercise of a put option in respect of a collar hedge over Dis-Chem ordinary shares
upon expiry.

In compliance with sections 3.63 to 3.74 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the following
information is disclosed:
