FURTHER TRADING STATEMENT


Shareholders and noteholders are referred to the trading statement published on 3 November 2021
and are advised that the board of directors, acting in the best interest of all stakeholders, giving due
regard to distributable income and tax considerations, has resolved to declare a dividend of 60.12
cents per share for the year ended 31 August 2021 (“FY2021”) (whereas for the year ended
31 August 2020, no dividend was declared).

The dividend represents a pay-out ratio of 100% of the distributable income of 52.96 cents per share
for FY2021 and includes an additional 7.16 cents per share which relates mainly to taxable
unrealised foreign exchange gains due to the appreciation of the Rand, which is non-recurring.

The financial information contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on
by Redefine’s auditors.

Redefine’s results for FY2021 will be published on 8 November 2021.
