TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2020

In accordance with section 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of the
following expectations regarding our financial results for the six months ended 31 December 2020:

-   headline earnings per share of between 79.36 cents and 87.72 cents, corresponding to a decrease
    of between 67.53% and 64.12% in comparison to 244.44 cents reported for the half year ended
    31 December 2019 (“Previous Corresponding Period”); and
- earnings per share of between 115.43 cents and 127.58 cents, corresponding to a decrease of
   between 52.78% and 47.81% in comparison to 244.44 cents reported for the Previous
    Corresponding Period.

The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the external
auditors of the Company.

The results for the half year ended 31 December 2020 are expected to be published on or about 3
March 2021.
