TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN LIBSTAR
SECURITIES

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 and paragraph
3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that the
Company has received notification from Allan Gray Proprietary Limited ("Allan Gray"), that
Allan Gray, on behalf of its underlying clients, has acquired a beneficial interest in the
ordinary shares of the Company, such that the aggregate beneficial interest in the ordinary
shares of the Company held by Allan Gray, on behalf of its underlying clients, now amounts
to 5.0556% of the total issued ordinary shares of the Company.

Libstar's board of directors accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement, having relied on the notice information provided by Allan Gray in the TRP
121.1 Form and, to the best of its knowledge and belief, the information is accurate and
complete.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company has filed the
required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
