NOTIFICATION OF A CHANGE TO THE BOARD AND SHAREHOLDER APPROVAL OF THE APPOINTMENT OF
THE DBSA CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER


In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, noteholders are advised
of the following:
a. The term of the current Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), an executive director of the Bank, Mr. Patrick
    Dlamini is coming to an end on 31 March 2023. Mr. Dlamini will be stepping down from the Board and
    its Board Committees.
b. DBSA Board has identified and nominated Ms. Boitumelo Mosako, an existing executive director of the
    Bank, as the new CEO to Shareholder for their approval.
c. The Shareholder has approved the appointment of Ms. Boitumelo Mosako as the new CEO of DBSA as
    indicated in the Statement on the Cabinet meeting of 15 February 2023. Refer to link to the statement:

d. The appointment is subject to all internal CEO appointment processes and procedures being finalized
    and a further announcement in this regard will be released to confirm the effective date of the new
    CEO appointment, once completed.
