RESIGNATION OF COMPANY SECRETARY

In compliance with paragraphs 3.59 and 6.39 of the JSE Limisted Listings and Debt Listings
Requirements, the board of directors of Santam hereby notifies shareholders and noteholders that Ms
Tebogo Moshakga, company secretary of Santam, has resigned, effective 30 April 2022, for personal
family circumstances.

The board would like to thank her for her services during her period as company secretary.

The board will commence the process of appointing a new company secretary and will notify
shareholders and noteholders once the new appointment has been made.
