In September 2021, an interim measure was put in place to adjust the capping level from 10% to 6% in
the FTSE/JSE Capped SWIX All Share Index (J433) as well as FTSE/JSE Capped SWIX Top 40 Index(J430).

FTSE/JSE confirms that the interim solution will be extended and therefore applied the same way at the
March quarterly review. FTSE/JSE, supported by the index Advisory Committee, will continue to consider
the situation and is prioritising the announcement of a permanent solution.
