RESIGNATION OF THE GROUP TREASURER MR PHETOLO RAMOSEBUDI AND THE
APPOINTMENT OF MR MARK GREGG-MACDONALD AS ACTING GROUP TREASURER

The Issuer hereby informs the market that Mr. Phetolo Ramosebudi who was the Group
Treasurer and Debt Sponsor Executive has resigned from Transnet SOC Ltd with effect from
25 October 2018.

Mr. Mark Gregg-MacDonald has been appointed Acting Group Treasurer for Transnet SOC
Ltd with effect from 26 October 2018.

Transnet Management will in due course appoint a new Debt Sponsor Executive to replace
Mr. Phetolo Ramosebudi.
