FINALISATION OF THE APPOINTMENT OF THE DBSA CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER “CFO”


Following the previous SENS announcement dated 31 March 2023 in relation to the appointment of the Acting
CFO, noteholders are further advised that the process to appoint a permanent CFO has been completed and
that Ms. Zodwa Mbele, a permanent employee of the Bank, who was the Acting CFO with effect from 01 April
2023 has been appointed as the permanent CFO with effect from 1 July 2023. The appointment does not cover
the responsibilities of being an executive director on the Board of Directors. The appointment of the CFO as a
member of the DBSA Board will be announced on SENS once the appointment has been finalized with the
shareholder.


The Board remains properly constituted in terms of the DBSA Act (13 of 1997, as amended) and can continue
to perform and exercise its fiduciary obligations effectively.
