UPDATE REGARDING RIOTS AND CIVIL UNREST
TUHF Urban Finance is deeply saddened and concerned about the unrest that broke out in South Africa
over the last few days. We are particularly saddened by the loss of lives and are also concerned about
the destruction of property and its impact on livelihoods.
Noteholders are advised that the events of the past week in South Africa have not affected any of the
TUHF Group’s residential portfolios, particularly in the areas which have been hardest hit, being
Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
TUHF Urban Finance acknowledges the foresight of the Servicer and Administrator’s IT and management
teams, which ensured that we could stay in contact with, and caution our clients, to safeguard any
associated retail stores.
The TUHF Group’s clients take out SASRIA cover as part of their building insurance and this requirement
is monitored by the Legal and Compliance Team as part of our portfolio management processes.
We welcome the deployment of the SAPS and the SANDF to those affected areas in order to contain
further loss of lives, destruction of property and further job losses affecting the livelihoods of all South
Africans.
Investors will be kept informed of further developments.
