                                         Appointment of joint corporate brokers


The Board of Ninety One plc and Ninety One Limited ("Ninety One" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of J.P. Morgan Securities plc (which conducts its UK investment banking activities as J.P. Morgan
Cazenove), Investec Bank plc and HSBC Bank plc as joint corporate brokers to the Company, with immediate effect.
In addition, J.P. Morgan Equities South Africa Proprietary Limited has been appointed as the JSE sponsor to the
Company.
