CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS


CBH wishes to advise that Jeff Wright has resigned as director and CEO of Country Bird
Holdings Limited (CBH), effective on 30 June 2013.

Jeff leaves CBH having met certain strategic objectives set when he joined the group five
years ago, including market penetration, operational efficiencies and growth into Africa.
He will pursue private business interests and leaves the group having made a significant
impact and establishing a solid foundation for exciting growth prospects that lie ahead in
Africa. The board acknowledges his contribution to the group and wishes him well in his
future endeavours.

Jeff will be replaced by Marthinus Stander as CEO effective from 1 July 2013. Marthinus
is an Engineer B.Eng (US), MSc (UCT) and has furthered his studies in business
management at the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He has held senior
executive positions at Pioneer Foods and Rainbow Chicken, operated a KFC franchise for
four years and until recently consulted to the Shoprite Group, focusing on their Quick
Service Restaurant (QSR) brand.

Marthinus brings a wealth of experience in the poultry industry to the group and we look
forward to his contribution in assisting CBH in realising its strategic objectives.
