STEINHOFF INVESTMENTS: PROPOSED CHANGE OF NAME


1. Introduction

   Shareholders are advised that the board of directors of the Company, subject to
   shareholder approval, proposes to change the Company's name from Steinhoff
   Investment Holdings Limited to "Ibex Investment Holdings Limited" (the "Change of
   Name").

2. Rationale for the Change of Name

   To align the Company's name with similar changes implemented throughout its holding
   structure.

3. Details of the Change of Name

   3.1. The JSE has, subject to shareholder approval, approved the Change of Name, with a
        new share code "IBX", abbreviated name of "Ibex" and the same ISIN of
        ZAE000068367.

   3.2. The Company will retain its history and will remain listed in the "Preference Shares" sub-
        sector of the main board of the JSE.

4. Distribution of written resolution

   A written resolution in terms of section 57 of the Companies Act, No 71 of 2008 ("Written
   Resolution") providing Steinhoff Investments' sole shareholder (Ibex RSA Holdco Limited)
   with relevant information relating to the Change of Name, has been distributed today.

   The salient dates and time of the Change of Name are as follows:
