AVAILABILITY OF THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2019
Further to the announcement released on the 3rd of February 2020, noteholders are advised that City of Tshwane is still delayed in releasing their annual
financial statements due to delays with the Auditor General.
The Auditor General was unable to finalize the audit report by 29th of November 2019 due to the finalization of the internal processes necessitated by the Public
Audit Act Amendment.
The City has in engagements with the AGSA confirmed that the audit process has been finalized; in fact, the audit report of the City as a stand-alone entity has
been signed off and will be made available to the City no later than Monday 23 March 2020. Therefore, the City anticipates the consolidated report to be made
available early in the week of 27 March 2020.
