Change in Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director

In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listing Requirements, the Board of
Directors of Mercedes-Benz South Africa Limited hereby informs noteholders of the
appointment of Mr. Mark Raine as the Co-CEO and Executive Director with effect from 1
September 2021 following the resignation of Johannes Fritz’s resignation as Co-CEO &
Executive Director of Mercedes-Benz effective on 1 September 2021. Mr. Fritz will be moving
back to Germany to head up Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans in Bavaria.

The Board wishes Mr. Fritz and Mr. Raine all the best in their new positions.
