 UPDATE RELATING TO THE NAME CHANGE AND FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT


Terms not defined in this announcement shall have the meanings given to them in the circular
posted to Mvela Group shareholders on 3 September 2012 ("the Circular").

Mvela Group shareholders are referred to the announcements released on SENS on
3 September 2012 and 19 October 2012 and the Circular relating to the granting of shareholder
approval for the Batho Bonke Disposal and the name change of “Mvelaphanda Group Limited” to
“New Bond Capital Limited”.

Shareholders are advised that the special resolution effecting the name change was registered
with CIPC on 24 October 2012 and the Company was accordingly issued with an amended
registration certificate with effect from 24 October 2012 reflecting the name change.
Consequently, the Company will trade under the new abbreviated name “Newbond”, JSE share
code of “NBC” and ISIN number ZAE000170726 with effect from Monday, 5 November 2012.
There are no further conditions precedent outstanding in respect of the name change.
Accordingly, and as previously advised, the salient dates and times in respect of the name
change are as follows:

 by registered post, to certificated shareholders who have
 surrendered their documents of title on or before 12:00 on the
 record date for the name change or within five business days
 of surrender thereof if received after 12:00 on the record date
 for the name change, on or about                                     Monday, 12 November

 Dematerialised shareholders’ accounts updated with the
 name change by their CSDP/Broker                                     Monday, 12 November
