CHANGE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN LIBSTAR SECURITIES
In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (the "Companies
Act"), and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that on 29 January the Company received notifications pursuant to section 122(1) of the
Companies Act from each of Cearus Holdco Limited ("Cearus") and Allan Gray
Proprietary Limited ("Allan Gray") relating to the following transactions:
• Cearus disposed of 6.56% of the issued ordinary shares of the Company
("Company Shares"), such that following the transaction, Cearus no longer holds
any Company Shares;
• Clients of Allan Gray have, in aggregate, acquired an interest in the Company
Shares, such that the total interest in the Company Shares held by Allan Gray's
clients now amounts to 14.1865% of the total issued ordinary shares of the
Company.
As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company has filed
the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
Shareholders are reminded that the cautionary announcement published on 27 January
2026 remains in force and shareholders should continue to exercise caution when
dealing in the Company's securities until a further announcement is made.
