                       APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM CHAIRPERSON

In accordance with paragraph 6.39(a) of the Debt Listings Requirements and further to the
announcement released on SENS on 25 February 2021 regarding the resignation of Ms
Monhla Hlahla as an independent non-executive director and Chairperson of Denel, the board
of directors of Denel (the “Board”) hereby advises that Ms Gloria Serobe has been appointed
to the Board as an Interim Chairperson, with effect from 25 February 2021, until the Minister
of Public Enterprises has finalised the appointment of the new Board.
