AVAILABILITY OF THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF THE ISSUER

Bondholders are advised that the annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2017 (“the financial
statements”) of the Issuer and the Guarantor to the ZAR10 000 000 000 Domestic Medium Term Note
Programme are available for inspection at the Issuer’s registered office and at http://www.imperial.co.za/inv-
afs.php.

The audit report on the financial statements of the Issuer and Guarantor are unqualified, with no modifications
applicable.

The Issuer would like to advise bondholders of the following restatement to the 2016 statement of cash flows.
The 2016 statement of cash flows was restated to reclassify the cash flows from interest-rate swap instruments
from investing activities to operating activities and to reclassify the cash flows from cross-currency swap
instruments from investing activities to financing activities.

The reason for the restatement is the new classifications as operating and/or financing activity are considered
more appropriate as these cash flows are now classified in the same manner as the underlying cash
transactions.
