NOTICE OF DELAY IN PUBLICATION OF AUDITED ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Investors are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News
Service of the JSE Limited ("JSE") on 2 May 2025 and are advised that the release
of the BDX's financial results for the year ended 31 December 2024 ("Financial
Results") have not been published on 30 April 2025 as required in terms of the
JSE Debt and Specialist Securities Listings Requirements (the "DSS Requirements")
due to delays in the finalisation of the audit of the Financial Results.
The reason for the delay in the publication of the Financial Results, is that due
to a change in BDX's external auditors during the 2024 financial year as part of
mandatory rotation, additional audit work was required which has resulted in a
delay in the finalisation of the full year Financial Results.
BDX acknowledges that it has been unable to publish its Financial Results within
the prescribed period as stipulated in the DSS Requirements and has proactively
engaged with the JSE on this matter and the team is diligently working to complete
the AFS and to ensure the accuracy thereof.
Investors are advised that the announcement has not been reviewed or reported on
by BDX's external auditors.
Furthermore, the Company's board remains committed to its compliance with the DSS
Requirements and publication of complete and accurate Financial Results for the
2024 financial year with the date for release of the Financial Results being on
or about 16 May 2025.
