Availability of Annual Financial Statements
RAND WATER
Rand Water is established in terms of the Water Services Act 1997 (the "Act"). Through the
Department of Water and Sanitation and duly represented by the Minister of Water and
Sanitation, the Government of the Republic of South Africa is the sole shareholder of Rand
Water. In terms of the Act, Rand Water's primary activity is the provision of bulk water supply
services (potable bulk water and sanitation services) within the predetermined service area.

Availability of Annual Financial Statements
Noteholders are advised that Rand Water's Consolidated Annual Financial Statements ("CAFS")
and Presentation for the period ended 30 June 2023 have been made available on the Rand
Water Website at the following link: https://www.randwater.co.za/investor_relations.php
The Issuer further wishes to advise that the audit report was unqualified. The audit report
includes an emphasis of matter relating to a credit loss allowance from trade and other
receivable. The audit opinion is not modified in respect of this matter.
Restatements were made to the prior financial period ended 30 June 2022 as set out in the
CAFS for the year ended 30 June 2023 as a result of Rand Water performing a compliance
review to International Financial Reporting Standards, where improvements were identified
through this process. The details of the restatements are outlined in note 41 (Prior period errors)
of the Consolidated Annual Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2023.
