APPOINTMENT OF THE GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY OF AFRICAN BANK
In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, African Bank
noteholders are advised that Ms Trisha Singh (“Trisha”) has been appointed as the Group Company
Secretary (the “Company Secretary”) with effect from 03 August 2023. Trisha’s appointment is to
fill a vacancy following the resignation of the previous Company Secretary.
Trisha obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (“LLB”) degrees from the University of
Kwa-Zulu Natal and is currently studying towards a Chartered Secretaries certification and Masters
of Law (“LLM”). She has also obtained Post-graduate diplomas in Compliance Management and
Advanced Banking Law from the University of Johannesburg and completed the Management
Advancement Programme and the International Executive Development Programme through Wits
Business School.
Trisha was enrolled as an Advocate in 2002 and has supported multiple boards within the banking
industry in positions ranging from Group Company Secretary and more recently, Head of Board
Support.
African Bank’s Chairman of the Board, Thabo Dloti, stated, “I would like to welcome Trisha on
behalf of the Board, and we look forward to her valuable contribution to the Board and the Group
as a whole.”
