TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2022

In accordance with section 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of the
following expectations regarding the Company’s financial results for the six months ended 31
December 2022 when compared to its financial results for the six months ended 31 December 2021
(“the previous comparable period”):

* Earnings as reported in the condensed consolidated financial statements of the previous comparable period as published on 3

** As detailed in the group’s audited consolidated financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2022 (“2022 AFS”), a
restatement was made in the 2022 financial year. Consequently, comparative information for the previous comparable period
was restated, to correct misclassifications in the Company’s cash book reconciliations, to accord with the restatement applied in
the 30 June 2022 AFS.

The financial information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the
external auditors of the Company.

The financial results for the six months ended 31 December 2022 are expected to be published on or
about Thursday, 2 March 2023.
