CHANGES TO THE BOARD – APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of Luxe (“Board”)
hereby notifies its shareholders that Luxe has appointed Mr Tony Chammas (“Tony”) as an executive director and Chief
Operating Officer of the Group, Ms Anna Franssina Plaatjies (“Anna”) as a non-executive director, and Mr Hendry
Maree (“Hendry”) as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 7 February 2022.

Tony has a Bachelor in finance and is registered as an ACCA member. Tony has worked for over 20 years in the gold
and diamond industry, and is experienced with managing cash flows, advanced stock controlling systems, budgetary
control systems (in all operational departments) and building solutions for “the mine-to-finger” approach for major
conglomerates in the United Arab Emirates.

Anna has a PhD, PGeo and an MBA, with 24 years of experience in the diamond industry, including specific knowledge
relating to diamond benefaction, having managed and developed large diamond cutting and polishing plants globally.
Her beneficiation strategy stemming from the “the mine-to-finger” vertical integration model has transformed
numerous diamond houses globally and will be replicated and implemented at Luxe.

Hendry holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science degree, and is a seasoned jewellery manufacturer,
being one of the first black owners of gold and diamond manufacturing and distribution plants in Africa, with his major
export market being the Far-East Asia region. His areas of expertise span systems-driven operations, the
implementation of business intelligence systems to monitor productivity and algorithms, with a scientific-based
approach to trends and markets movements in the industry. Hendry has a good understanding of global trends and
region-specific needs.
