connected persons in accordance with DTR 3.1

The independent trustee of the SABMiller plc Employees' Benefit Trust (“EBT”) notified the
Company on 14 November 2013 that it had on 14 November 2013 exercised its discretion
and released 18,975 ordinary shares in SABMiller plc to a director and persons discharging
managerial responsibility (PDMRs) participating in the SABMiller plc Executive Share Award
Plan 2008, as summarised in the table below. These shares relate to awards made in 2008
to the director and PDMRs named below. In accordance with the terms of the share awards
sufficient shares were sold to meet tax liabilities.
